Not so long ago choosing a frame supplier to your business seemed quite simple. Today however, it is not just about design, style or price. The supplier you choose needs to provide you with, not only a good product but an exceptional back up service. During many years working within the Optical industry, the founders of Pro-Optic, Philip and Kay Richardson, listened to Independent Practitioners and felt that good service was being overlooked by the need for growth and branding. Therefore in 1998 Pro-Optic was created. Their ethos has always been to ensure the Independent Practitioner receives the best possible service, without having to pay a premium and regardless of the volume of their business.

Based in Gloucestershire, the company have managed to grow without losing sight of those important values. Today Pro-Optic draws from the daily experiences of its Sales Team to ensure it delivers the required service with a mixed frame portfolio, ensuring individuality in each of its collections. All collections are stocked in the UK and are supplied next day in most instances.

Today, with the recent additions of Maggy Rouff and the Molyneux collection, Pro-Optic have managed to implement the highest quality whilst providing a competitive pricing structure. Both collections offer sophisticated styling for the 40 plus lady and gentleman, a market which is quite often overlooked by the need for ‘the ultimate designer brand’.

In addition to these collections, since 2001 Pro-Optic have promoted Airlight. This collection has now an excellent following due to its quality and simple styling and to compliment this we have now expanded our own Air Pro-Optic collection to offer one of the best complete collections of light weight semi-rimless and rimless spectacle frames available in the UK today.

From January 2010 we are pleased to offer the Convertibles Collection. Each frame is supplied with a dedicated UV polorised clip-on for simple yet secure attachment. With dynamic styling, innovative design techniques and patented technology, this collection sets the standard for contemporary functional eyewear.

Pro-Optic, based on the feedback from our customers, feel the collection has never been stronger or more exclusive. We have taken time to ensure that quality is not overlooked by the need for branding or trend and that we continue to provide total client service and satisfaction.
